Designed to help you develop and improve your freediving skills by allowing you to continue at your own pace while learning how your body reacts to apnea (suspension of breathing).
It’s a fantastic feeling to break a new freediving record or dive to a new depth. It satisfies that deep-seated urge to give it your all and be proud of what you can do. The PADI Advanced Freediver course is designed to meet your specific need to develop and improve your freediving skills while studying how your body reacts during apnea.
You must be at least 15 years old and hold a PADI Freediver certification to enroll in a PADI Advanced Freediver course (or a qualifying certification from another freediver organization). Within the last 24 months, you must also have completed Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training. This training can be completed while doing the Rescue Diver course. At the same time, your PADI Instructor may give the PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider specialty diver course.
PADI Freediver eLearning allows you to expand your knowledge on your own time (or your instructor may conduct class sessions if not available in a language you understand).
