A subset of the PADI Freediver course is the PADI Basic Freediver course. It’s an excellent place to start if you want to learn to freedive. In a pool or confined water site, you study basic freediving principles and practice breathhold techniques.
You must be 12 years old or older to enroll in a PADI Basic Freediver course. You must have adequate swimming ability and be in decent physical condition. There is no need for prior snorkeling, skin diving, or freediving expertise.
If you’re under the age of 12, the PADI Skin Diver course is for you if you are 8+.
PADI Freediver eLearning allows you to expand your knowledge on your own time (or your instructor may conduct class sessions if not available in a language you understand).
