Less effort. More control.
Fine-tune your weighting, trim, breathing and movement. The SSI Perfect Buoyancy Course helps you glide more smoothly, use less energy and become a calmer, more environmentally aware diver.
Find your balance and let the ocean do the work.
Excellent buoyancy is one of the clearest differences between a diver who is fighting the water and one who looks completely at home underwater.
This course gives you focused time with an SSI Instructor to examine your weighting, body position, breathing and equipment setup. Small changes can make a huge difference to your comfort and control.
- Hover comfortably without excessive movement
- Maintain a more streamlined horizontal position
- Use breathing for precise depth adjustments
- Avoid accidental contact with reefs and the seabed
