A reef made for exploring
Dzinani lies towards the southern end of Diani’s local dive sites, approximately level with Kinondo on land. Its three coral islands create a varied underwater route with reef edges, sandy spaces and plenty of areas to investigate.
The site is reached using a mooring buoy and is not normally planned as a drift dive. Its accessible profile makes it a great option for beginner divers while still offering plenty to interest experienced photographers and macro-life enthusiasts.

Look carefully across sandy patches and beneath sheltered reef edges.
Colourful reef fish
Red snapper and a lively mixture of tropical fish move around the coral.
Macro favourites
Frogfish, ribbon eels, leaf fish and pegasus or dragonfish may be found.
