Diani’s underwater landscape ranges from gentle coral gardens to deeper walls, drift dives and the atmospheric MV Alpha Funguo wreck. The reefs support colourful fish, rays, turtles and an impressive variety of small marine life.
Ocean Tribe chooses the day’s sites according to sea conditions, diver experience and the kind of diving the group wants to enjoy. This helps provide the best and safest experience available on the day.

Dzinani
Three coral islands create an easy-going reef adventure with plenty of places to search for both colourful fish and unusual small creatures.
Galu
A flexible reef with shallow sections, a gentle coral slope and deeper options. It is ideal for training, photography and relaxed diving.
Igloo
Named for its rounded coral formations, Igloo combines reef structure, swim-throughs and the remains of a former underwater observatory.
Kinondo
A southern Diani reef selected when sea conditions suit the site. Its coral terrain gives divers another distinctly different local route.
Kisima Mungu
“God’s Well” rises from the deeper sand into a dramatic reef of walls, overhangs, sea fans and current-washed coral.
MV Alpha Funguo
Diani’s purpose-sunk artificial reef offers an atmospheric deeper dive around the ship’s deck, holds and superstructure.
Mwanamoji
Coral gardens, bommies and sandy patches make this a versatile, easy-going reef for relaxed dives and underwater photography.
Mwanyaza
A long fringing reef with shallow sections and gentle profiles, offering comfortable dives and the potential for generous bottom time.
Tiwi Wall
A reef plateau with coral gardens, overhangs and a tunnel. Tiwi can provide a calm, scenic dive when local visibility is suitable.
