Why book a course package?
A package combines complementary courses into one planned schedule. This can reduce the overall cost, avoid repeating administration and help you build skills while your recent training is still fresh.
Can complete beginners book a package?
Yes. The Open Water + Nitrox and Open Water + Advanced packages are designed for beginners. The other packages require an Open Water Diver certification and may have additional age or experience requirements.
Are digital learning and certification fees included?
The published Ocean Tribe packages normally include the required SSI digital learning and certification fees. Confirm the final inclusions for your selected package when booking.
Is scuba equipment included?
Standard scuba equipment is included in the published beginner packages and specified specialty packages. Mission Ready Diver also includes the specialist sidemount equipment required for its training. Confirm individual requirements before arrival.
Can I spread the courses across my holiday?
Course scheduling can often be adjusted around your available dates, weather and training progress. Contact Ocean Tribe before booking if you need rest days or other activities between course sessions.
Does completing four specialties automatically give me Advanced Open Water?
SSI Advanced Open Water Diver is a recognition rating that also requires the necessary number of logged dives. Completing four qualifying specialties provides the training component, but your MySSI profile must also contain the required logged dive experience.
Can I change one of the specialties?
Substitutions depend on instructor availability, conditions, prerequisites, equipment and the structure of the package. Ask Ocean Tribe before booking if you want a different combination.
