Small dive groups
Dive groups are limited to a maximum ratio of four divers per dive professional, with boats capped at ten divers.

Every dive professional on the team holds at least Divemaster Instructor status.
Instructor training
Ocean Tribe is home to East Africa’s only SSI Instructor Trainer and is authorised to conduct Instructor Training.

Founded by Mark Slingo in 2015, Ocean Tribe began in Nairobi before the Diani branch became the heart of the business.
After a decade teaching PADI programs, Ocean Tribe moved to SSI in 2025 and developed into an SSI Diamond Instructor Training Centre.
Ocean Tribe founded and recognised as a PADI 5 Star Centre.
