HOW LONG IS THE DIVE INSTRUCTOR INTERSHIP?

Depending on what your starting certification level is. The duration of the SSI Dive Instructor internship at Ocean Tribe can range. From 3 months for beginner levels to just 1 month for a more advanced diver.

PROGRAM OUTLINE

The SSI Dive Instructor internship includes all core SSI courses based on your starting level. These may include Open Water Diver, React Right First Aid & CPR, Diver Stress & Rescue, SSI Divemaster, the SSI Instructor Training Course, and Specialty Instructor Training

Earn specialties like Enriched Air, Deep Diving, Night & Limited Visibility, Navigation, Computer Diving, and Science of Diving. Want more? Add extras like Sidemount Diving or Wreck Diving.

Expect plenty of diving! Many interns leave with 100+ dives, gaining real-world experience in stunning Kenyan waters.

MEDICAL INFORMATION

All participants must meet the SSI Diver Medical Questionnaire requirements. Some medical conditions or medications may prevent you from diving.
