Your questions, answered
Do beginner courses count?
Yes. The SSI Open Water Diver course qualifies, even if you have never dived before. We’ll help you choose a suitable free specialty and explain how it fits into your training.
Do try-diving experiences count?
For a short introductory or try-diving experience, please contact us to confirm eligibility before booking. The full Open Water Diver course is included.
Do I need to finish my course by 15 November?
No. 15 November 2026 is the booking deadline. Your course takes place during the Christmas and New Year holidays.
Can I choose any specialty for free?
Choose one from Enriched Air Nitrox, Perfect Buoyancy, Photo and Video, Computer Diving or Equipment Techniques. Perfect Buoyancy and Photo and Video are pool-based versions.
Are open water dives included in the two pool options?
No. The free Perfect Buoyancy and Photo and Video options take place in the pool. Optional open water dives can be added for an upgrade fee. Ask us about the cost when booking.
What if I already hold one of the specialties?
Choose another specialty from the list. Tell us your existing qualifications and interests if you would like help deciding.
Can I book any of the advanced courses?
Each course has its own prerequisites. We’ll check your certification level and diving experience with you before booking.
