SSI Open Water Instructor

The SSI Open Water Instructor (OWI) is the first professional instructor level in SSI. During training, candidates refine their teaching skills, watermanship, and diving knowledge, while mastering SSI standards, procedures, and methods.

After passing the SSI Instructor Evaluation (IE), Open Water Instructors can introduce new divers to the underwater world through various SSI programs.

Teaching Status Includes:
