OPEN WATER INSTRUCTOR
An SSI Open Water Instructor is the highest certification level in the SSI recreational diving system. This elite status allows you to independently teach and certify new Open Water Divers, giving students the skills they need to dive safely.

ADVANCED OPEN WATER INSTRUCTOR
An SSI Advanced Open Water Instructor is a certified Open Water Scuba Instructor with the qualification to teach specialty courses. This level allows you to guide students through the Advanced Open Water Diver certification, which requires completing four specialty dives and logging at least 24 dives.

DIVEMASTER INSTRUCTOR

Requirements to Qualify:
Hold an Advanced Open Water Instructor certification
Be a certified Science of Diving Instructor

Hold an Assistant Instructor Trainer certification Log at least 250 dives Issue a minimum of 150 diver certifications across different programs
