Ready to level up your diving? Ocean Tribe offers a full range of SSI Advanced Dive Courses designed to sharpen your skills and boost your confidence underwater. Whether you want to go deeper, dive longer, or explore more challenging environments, we’ve got the right path for you.
After completing your Open Water certification, the ocean opens up even more. Advanced courses help you dive deeper, handle tricky conditions, and become a more capable buddy. You’ll also improve your buoyancy, navigation, and situational awareness with every new dive.
Our advanced training happens right here in Diani Beach, one of the most diverse and exciting marine ecosystems in East Africa. You’ll work with experienced SSI instructors in small groups, so you get focused, personal guidance. We choose dive sites daily based on conditions and your comfort level, giving you the best possible experience each day.
Courses like Deep Diving, Wreck Diving, Perfect Buoyancy, and Enriched Air Nitrox expand your knowledge and push your limits in safe, controlled settings. Every specialty includes academic learning, confined water practice (when needed), and open water dives on Diani’s beautiful coral reefs.
You can take individual specialties one by one or go for the Advanced Adventurer program. This lets you try five different specialties in a single course. It’s perfect if you want a broad experience without committing to one area just yet.
Start your digital training online through the MySSI app and complete your dives when you arrive. That means more time in the water and less in the classroom. We make it easy to learn at your pace, whether you’re in Kenya for a week or staying longer.
Every advanced course you complete counts toward higher recognition ratings. Build your way up to Master Diver, gain confidence, and unlock new dive adventures around the world. As an Ocean Tribe student, you also get access to our Dive Club perks and ongoing support from our team.
