Ocean Tribe’s Instructor Training Course gives you the skills, confidence, and qualifications to succeed anywhere in the world. Every ITC package includes one week of preparation, the full Instructor Training Course, six SSI Instructor Specialties at no extra cost, and the Instructor Evaluation with all materials and crew pack. The program runs for around two weeks, including preparation, training, and the Instructor Evaluation.
Yes, you must hold a Divemaster or equivalent certification. If you need it first, Ocean Tribe also offers Divemaster training.

Yes, dive instructors are expected to have their own gear. If you don’t, Ocean Tribe’s Essential and Elite Gear Pack tiers provide a full professional set at near trade prices. We do provide rental equipment but strongly recommend you have your own equipment as a professional diver.
